生态环境部11月28日介绍，长江流域已建立保护长江江豚相关的自然保护区13处，覆盖了40%长江江豚的分布水域，保护近80%的种群。
A total of 13 natural reserves for the Yangtze finless porpoises have been established in the Yangtze River basin, covering 40 percent of the habitats of the species, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment said Monday. These natural reserves have brought nearly 80 percent of the total population of the species under protection.

【知识点】
长江江豚为国家一级保护野生动物，属于长江特有淡水鲸豚类动物，称为长江的“微笑天使”，是评估长江生态系统状况的重要指示物种。
我国高度重视长江江豚保护。自上世纪80年代起，逐步探索了就地保护、迁地保护、人工繁育三大保护策略。其中，迁地保护，即选择一些生态环境与长江相似的水域建立迁地保护地，是当前保护长江江豚最直接、最有效的措施。至今，我国已建立5个迁地保护地，迁地群体总量超过150头。
党的十八大以来，随着长江经济带生态环境保护发生转折性变化，长江江豚保护措施、机制不断完善。2016年12月，原农业部印发《长江江豚拯救行动计划（2016—2025）》，提出“基本维持干流和两湖长江江豚自然种群相对稳定，自然种群的衰退速度明显下降”等目标。农业农村部2018年7月发布的长江江豚科学考察情况显示，长江江豚数量约为1012头，极度濒危状况虽仍未改变，但种群数量大幅下降趋势得到遏制。2018年9月，国务院办公厅印发《关于加强长江水生生物保护工作的意见》，提出“实施以中华鲟、长江鲟、长江江豚为代表的珍稀濒危水生生物抢救性保护行动”。自2020年1月1日起，长江流域332个自然保护区和水产种质资源保护区全面禁捕。自2021年1月1日起，长江流域重点水域实行十年禁捕。2020年12月，我国第一部流域法律《长江保护法》颁布，为长江生物多样性保护提供了重要法治保障，长江野生物种生境得到极大改善。在南京、武汉等长江干流江段，“微笑天使”长江江豚出现频率显著增加，部分水域单个聚集群体达到60多头。

推行草原森林河流湖泊湿地休养生息，实施好长江十年禁渔，健全耕地休耕轮作制度。建立生态产品价值实现机制，完善生态保护补偿制度。
We will promote the natural regeneration of grasslands, forests, rivers, lakes, and wetlands, enforce the 10-year fishing ban on the Yangtze River, and improve the system of fallowing and crop rotation.
