工业和信息化部表示，我国将建设国家工业互联网大数据中心，加强对中国工业互联网公司海外上市的监管和协调。
China will build a national data center for the industrial internet and strengthen the supervision and coordination of overseas listings of Chinese industrial internet companies, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

2018年，工信部出台《工业互联网发展行动计划（2018-2020年）》，提出到2020年底，初步建成工业互联网基础设施和产业体系。近日，工信部印发《工业互联网专项工作组2020年工作计划》，提出了10大任务类别共54项具体举措，主要任务包括提升基础设施能力、构建标识解析体系、建设工业互联网平台、突破核心技术标准、培育新模式新业态、促进产业生态融通发展、增强安全保障水平、推进开放合作、加强统筹推进、推动政策落地等十方面。
2017年11月国务院发布的《关于深化“互联网+先进制造业”发展工业互联网的指导意见》提出的发展目标是：到2025年，覆盖各地区、各行业的工业互联网网络基础设施基本建成，工业互联网标识解析体系不断健全并规模化推广，基本形成具备国际竞争力的基础设施和产业体系；到2035年，建成国际领先的工业互联网网络基础设施和平台，工业互联网全面深度应用并在优势行业形成创新引领能力，重点领域实现国际领先；到本世纪中叶，工业互联网创新发展能力、技术产业体系以及融合应用等全面达到国际先进水平，综合实力进入世界前列。
